Who knew if your internet works, and one of the TV's work, leaving one TV not working=== that you have the internet hooked up wrong?

It had to do with feed back, and *glazed eyes* ... stuff. lol But all is fixed, so my lazy weekend mornings are going to be as they should be, and the late night ghost shows on Friday are back on.

Yes- I love that show.

Having been put on hold with the Kentucky Motor Carrier ... they use can music. And it is the same freaking song playing over and over...each time they put me on hold.

Ok- spent a hour trying to find the 'owner' of the school I am going into on Sunday. Called the PVA, the School Board, the County Clerk, and the Library as they use to have a historical society. Yes folks, I like to do things legal like. I mean... karma is a bitch sometimes. While all the windows on the main floor or broken out, most uncovered- not really breaking in. I will not break into a building...just not the way I am. But I will walk in a open door, or window.

Speaking of- the lady who use to rent the trailer came to see my sister yesterday evening. Seems she wants me to drop the charges on the couple, him being a friend of hers. When asked why he was in the trailer she said he knew it was empty, and it was cold. And he was not allowed in the homeless shelter due to him busting or shooting the managers windshield out.

O,.o

Yea- makes me want to release the charges.

Time Warner cable.. got to love them. I call about the snow/ static on my tv in my bedroom.

"Yes- I did just put internet on the cable."

"Yes- it is on that TV."

"Yes- I did do it myself."

"No- I don't think it has a lose wire, connection as I have checked it several times."

"No a Tech did not come out to put it in."

"Gosh- when I signed up for it you all told me I could put it in myself- so simple. And it was... "

"No I don't need a tech to come out and do it again. I am telling you the internet is fine- just the picture on a few channels on that tv is off."

"No I am not paying $58.00 for them to come check my internet connections. I am telling you I want you to come out and or fix these channels."

*puts me on hold..with shitty music. Bites nails*

"Yes- I can see that the splitter might be at fault."

"Yes, I agree it needs replaced. Do I go back to the store, move my chest out again, and rehook it up?"

"No- I did not buy the splitter- I got it from you."

"Yes lady, I am sure I did."

*Hold again...still the same freaking music...starts a paper clip chain that turns into a rope*

"Hey you are back, thinking you forgot about me."

"Yes I did."

"Yes I did."

"Yes I did pick up the splitter and the cable from your store. I also went back to pick up one more cable, a longer one."

"Well I can't help it that they was not to do it- they did."

"So..listen lady, I ain't got all day. Are you going to do something about this or not? I can go buy a stupid splitter for this much time wasted."

*Puts me hold yet again*

*No. As you said the splitter came from us, we are sure it is fine. We will send a tech out to check the cable. Thursday from 8:00 to 12:00 or 1: to 5:00?*

Then I get a machine calling me asking me to do a survey on the service of the customer care of Windstream...

I had that problem with Dish network when I switched the Tv that we acquired from my brother-in-law thank god they didn't charge me for the Damn tech!

So how was my day? You know you want to know or you would not of clicked into my journal.

Long. That is how my day was. Did some running for Mom- she has a battery in her watch, and her first alert necklace is now working. After going to two places to find the right stuff. Bills paid, shopping done, meds in for the whole family.

And new cell phone for us- prepaid as I never use my mins up, and cheaper. I need to send out my new number, the old one gone now.

I also called and got the insurance on sister and my car lowered. The company started to charge more, offer discount for more then one car. I guess I never knew how much till sis started to tell me. She sold her old car, I drop my pickup- so we each only had one car then. Going Sat to 'gift' her car to me, add her as a driver to the policy and save about $600.00 a year. Really helped her as her car is new, mine is 6 years old so not as much.

Oh- and I called a lady who works for a rental company... or is it hud?... it might be a state thing. Anyway= they are the ones who purchased a old school building in the next town. I asked her about taking photos inside and she said the building was in bad shape- they would be more urban style. I said that was jsut what I wanted. LOL She seems cool, told me to call back in mid April as that is when 'they' was going into the building to start tearing into it. Seems it is going to be gutted, redone inside.

*cross fingers* I really really hope she lets me in. :)

And that- is my day. In the morning I will be busy with the repairs on two rentals, cleaing on one. Yeap- work, but no income for me. Oh well... it will all work out.

Stay happy, right? Right.

Just shy of 9:00 am we went to the trailer with the green ford pack van and my car. Me, Eric, Boone and Jason. Plan was to remove the carpet, haul off trash outside. We had went into the trailer a week earlier and I knew some work was needed, using my guys as it is cheaper then the carpenter and we was slow at the moving company and they needed the hours. So we plan to do the demo/ hauling and prep for the carpenters’.

I unlocked the door- the keys not of my own as the rental had removed the locks and places her own on the doors. We went into the trailer, each of us saying how hot it was as the heat was on full blast. It was in the 30’s, a sprinkle of snow on the ground that was already melting off.

As we talked about what needed done Eric reached down and started to cut the carpet in an X, getting it ready to pull up. At the front bedroom door he tried to open it, when he noticed it was locked. At was at this time he said he thinks someone was in the room, making sounds. The other two went toward the door, one going to the front door which is right beside the bedroom door and starting to open it when I, standing at the kitchen sink, notice a man and woman running out of the yard on that side of the trailer. They went outside, yelling at them to stop, which they did. My guys asked them what the fuck they were doing? It was against the law to break into someone’s home. Some harsh words were said but no physical touching/ handling by anyone was done.

By the time I step out on the porch the lady was crying, saying she had never done anything like this before, that they had no place to stay, and knew no one in the town. The man told her to stop crying. I looked at him and he is someone I have seen in the trailer before during the remodel of the home next door. That raised one red flag for me as the woman who had rented the trailer from my father had moved in several males, police was repeatedly out at the trailer. Reason when she said she was moving, we was grateful. She was given a eviction notice after taking two weeks to move, to get out.

The lady kept crying, and I told him I want to see the room. He needed to unlock it. He said he had gotten in by the window- he would go unlock the door. He did, and I was the first in the room. He had left a candle, clothing, food, and some needles, spoon- clear drug use. I did not tell anyone of this till after it was over with. I told him to get his stuff and get out. He swore he would never come back. They left and walked across the street, and up to the house I knew they had been at before, where I had seen them going back and forth from the trailer before. They knew the trailer was empty. It was then I wished I had called the police. We checked the window- it was not broken so he had not damage the trailer.

I then found the pile of shit in the bathroom toilet, and with no water in the home. I called the cops. I was just going to put the fear of god into them as they sat/stood/ and went into the house across the street from us. The police showed, we told them what happen, they went and returned with the two. One police man said he knew the woman, and I asked him what they had done. He said she had been caught last week on shoplifting. I asked her how they got inside the trailer, if they had a key and she said no. She told me that one window in the living room- you pop it out, and the inside window just raises up. She pointed out the one they said they came in on. At that point I said to arrest them.

About two hours later the lady across the street- where they went to- came and told me that she did not know who they where, they would just come up and ask to use the phone sometimes. So it was the man I had seen before. She said they had called someone to come pick them up, was waiting for a ride when the police came. I did not question or talk to her again as I knew she was not telling the truth. Who let’s two stranger into their home?

We changed the locks, made sure the windows were secured, and left the trailer a few hours later. After calling Connie to ask what the deal was, what the next step and the time they would serve I am writing this down for a record. They were charged with breaking and entering with intend to burglary. I did point out to the police that I don’t think they had stolen anything- when he said it did not matter, it was intent. He also said that he knew I was on the fence about pressing charges, but I did the right thing. If people want the crime off the street- you had to press charges, show up on the court date.

Joli. What can I say about Joli? She is a woman who reminds me of my grandmother for her sweet, caring ways. Of my mother for her strength and drive to get the job done. She is a woman that I hold in high regards, and would love to meet one day. But I am slacking… see, I have an image that speaks to me and what does it say? Joli. I just wish I had the words, the poetry that is her words. I think that is what has taken me so long to post this- I don’t have the words to express what this image means to me.

I will try to explain a little about why it reminds me of her. Every once in a while I buy flowers for myself, I just can’t help it, it is a guilty splurge of ten dollars. The flowers I have been given can be counted on one hand, but the treat of flowers I give myself… make them even sweeter as they are for me, by me. They serve no purpose but to make me happy, to give me joy. I see the hard plastic wrap around the flowers at the store, the colors peeking out at me, just waiting to be let out. They make me smile; they make me feel hope, stop to see the beauty god gives us to enjoy, life is all about us. Just to see the good in life, to take a second and feel a inner peace.

They are life at its best.

And so I give you- Joli.

Went to a town about 60 miles into the eastern hills here, for work. While I was in the area I went and found the school house Birdy told me about a year ago.

WOW! I called Cat right after I got back into the car. This place is a must. I mean...... *smiles* It is 3, 4 floors if you count the basement. Some great details on the outside, easy to get into, and already talked to the city about it. As in the offical saying "Boys got in there and destoryed it..no one cares if you go in." A window spotted, only comes up to my waist, so the way in is scoped out.

Can't wait.

But not this weekend, or next Sat as I have a lease to sign with the lady who rented the house. Cat said next Sunday.

I JUST can't wait till then. :D The place is freaking cool. :) I owe Birdy a thanks for this place.

Going to have my say on the chat anonymous viewers, or Anon, as many have called them. You understand when you start your cam that ‘people’ can view your cam. Same as when you make a profile, portfolio or journal here. They are not locked from the public. Yes Cams are different- it is live. But that is what you like about it or you would not do it. If all you want to do is have your say- you would use your journal. You- YOU are putting yourself out there for others to see.

I go into cams not singed in all the time. I have been talked mean to, called names, online threats, and just flat out being told to go fuck off. Now I ask you-- if I am saying nothing, and you do that, what does that show about you? Is your life so full of ‘you’ and drama that you think every thing is about you? And do you not see people do it just so you will go off? It is like the troll in the vamp box- you give them the power over you when you react that way.

What if…and this is what I fear… a person was just checking out the site? What if that person said.. “Look- they have live cams, cool.” and they click on them, to see what is going on. And they get the treatment that some members hand out to Anon without them even saying a freaking word? Bad enough the topic lines are full of “Don’t bring your bullshit here!” “NO drama!” Gods- it is starting to look like Vampire Freaks.

When did the cams become so much about the drama?

Can’t you just use the cams like they were intended for? There is a block button for the site- there is a mute button on the cam. Why are Anon being treated like they just kicked your dog, hit your kid? Really- it just shows the site in a bad way, and the drama queens/kings are out in full force. And that poor member who just wanted to see the cam… will back off the site so fast our heads will spin. At least for me it would.

How about we all just take a chill pill, enjoy the cams as they was made to? And not start one just to stir up drama/ seek attention. Make you want to stay out of the ones you don't know at all- just hit the ones who you know are not going to cuss or threaten you, AKA friends.

So you are sort of a VR Rep when you start the cam, the site is made up of its members. So why not try and act like we all don't live on drama, ok?

It is about time someone said it, and if these members are representing VR, well...I hate to say this but they are doing a piss poor job of it the way they are acting. How are members who are scoping out the site before making profiles supposed to feel welcome when the ones on cam are acting like a bunch of freaking retarded animals?

I reiterate Rat saying for y'all to take a chill pill - because you never know exactly who is on the other end - while you are on cam acting a fool and being obnoxious - you could have your ex husband, your mother, a cop, the freaking president of the United States checking you out and what do you think they are going to think about you when you act that way?

Oh and when I say someone can be checking you out, think if your ex is checking you out on cam - seeing how you act - better think how it is going to come into play if you are a parent and he decides you are not acting appropriately. Another thing - suppose your boss is viewing you and you don't even know it?

There's a saying that one of the kids tv shows says - If you wouldn't do it in real life - don't do it on the internet cause nothing is ever really erased or gone after you delete it.

I went in as Anon a few times, and I had my friend, who was considering joining the site, go in to a cam, and they were treated horribly- VR lost the money that he was willing to put into a premium because one person, who was well overage, acted very immature. Thanks for saying this- you did word it perfectly, as Morrigon said.

I love it!

I saw a commercial for a truck recently; the truck pulls up honking and the people run out of the house 'Timmy fell down the well girl?'

They hop in the truck and take off, one thing after another...the guy starts asking, 'how did Timmy get hold of a hot air balloon' and 'I didn't even know this town had a volcano' LOL.

Poor Lassie having to put up with that brat.

LMAO. I watched the same ghost hunter show and felt it was interesting, when they did use the dog and it refused to go into an area, they got high EMF. Hey its a start.

My vision was them using the collar of the dog from UP. Instead of the dog stopping and saying, "SQUIRREL!!!", it would stop and say, "GHOST!!!".

Sister sold her car today, the one she got rear ended in, her older one. She purchased it from a good friend for $3,000.00 about 5 years ago. Got $3,200.00 for it from the insurance company, then sold it for a $1,000.00 to a man who owns a body shop.

Getting tired of the black/white them of my profile, wanting some color. Just to freaking lazy to do the design. And that is sad when you think it is background, 4 pictures, font color change. lol

So wanted to BBQ this afternoon when I got home. 70's, slight wind.... and rain for the weekend. *cuss words* Why? First weekend home in two weeks, warm enough to cook out...and rain. :P to you weather gods.

Got to see Birdy, hear about the honeymoon. She had a blast it seems. :D After talking a little I really wished I had more time to take photos at the wedding. But the good thing- she still has the dress, and we can do more shots if she wants. I know of at least five shots I wished was taken- her on the stairway, both on the stairway, her veil drap over the wooden bannister, Her looking over her shoulder, the veil just blocking her face, and the waterfall on the back was never used in the photos. Makes my photo finger itch- what was not taken by the man who did the photos.

But for now- time to try and edit a few more photos from this weekend.

What a day. Started late, did get a lot of things off my desk like the letter wrote to the insurance company about their nice expensive “recommendations” and what they could do with them. I also got my credit card paid off- now just the loan at the bank to handle. Looks like my pay might be little if any for a while so… time to tighten the belt to the last notch. Sure Sister, Cat and Birdy will not mind feeding me some nights. Going to call and switch my internet to cable, cancel the home phone this week. Still have the cell from work so… really not something I need.

Spent the last two and half hours of work showing the empty rental house. Had a question asked I have never had before. “Have you ever had a death, a terminal illness or is the house around or on a grave yard?” OOookkkk then. I said not that I know of, since we have owned it. Seems she has a ghost at her apartment, it slams the doors on her, and stacks glasses up in her cupboard. As she is telling me this the last appointment shows up early.

Now this one is the one I have been waiting for as she is a Chapel. Talk about trying to get these two separated. I sent her and her boyfriend, with a baby on into the house as I talked with the lady. Older woman, good job, no pets. I swear I could hear angels sing… this was the one. She showed me some damage to the outside that needed some work done to- which is fine. I really like she cared enough to notice them this weekend when she first came to look at the house on the outside as I was out of town, not showing.

So out comes the ghost people and I send her into the home. She returned shortly afterwards and wrote me a check to hold the house, the damage deposit. If her credit runs good, which she tells me it will, then we have a WINNER!! Single people… oh how I love renting to you.

Aunt is out of the hospital- the test showing nothing. She is meeting with a specialist on Wednesday. The other Aunt with the broken jaw… not heard anything else about. I do feel for the family, my uncle not knowing what he did. But still… if he is that much of a threat… just a hard spot to be in.

Now it is time to rest, upload some pictures from this weekend, and see what I can save of the wedding pictures. So busy day, seeing others have it harder then I do, seeing some fun, and love of those around me as the family shared some time together today.

Seems Friday just before I left the family got some news that I only learned of when I returned home just now.

One Aunt has been in the hospital for over a week, testing run, ill. The family was hoping she would be home by the end of last week as it was her brithday, and we was only told as the family knew Mom would be calling at least by that day. She calls her about every 5 days as she lives alone in Ohio, state away.

And the second Aunt was beat up by her husband, who has alzheimers. He does not remember breaking her jaw. And this is bringing some other problems to light.

O.o

When you think you have it bad...wow. And it show you what in life means Jack Shit Nothing, and what matters.

Thank god I have a loving family and friends. So much "stuff" we hold onto mean nothing in life. In a years time- does it matter, all this we worry about? It is who is going to be beside you in a year's time that should matter to you.

Answer to Birdy's comment from below--- She got food- had a nice muffin, then food during it ( we took food in the cooler) but the restaurant was open...but we still got fudge. AND the walk in the garden was wonderful. :P No tree bark is missing. I have feed her steak, she is now on the couch, happy and sassy watching the March Madness stuff... yes- it is her weekend so I am on VR. LOL

Got some great pictures. :)

And I feed ya.... fudge. ALL DAY! ROFL. And hey- you are on your honeymoon... got get laid damn it. LOL Myself- think it is a early night for me. But the hotel room is great- AC on 64... :D Bed is just right, and rested even after all the walking, driving today.

I did find a old house I wanted to get into, take pictures, but Cat put her paw down on it and said no. *Rat pouts*

OHHHH and the toilet- when it flushes it sounds like a jet plane taking off. So see one of use getting cheek locked onto the toilet before we leave.... could you not see that call to the front desk? Yes- my friend is stuck on the toilet. No... I mean...she is vac locked...what the hell do you NC do to the toilets here? I mean...hickey much on the ass? or what??

It was the bestest birthday present ever would only have been better with more friends with us. But you still found some wonderful pictures without the breaking and entering away from my buddies!

We survived without getting stuck but you ought to get up in the middle of the night to visit the john and as you're sitting there still half asleep the guy next door flushes his and it sounds like a shotgun blast went off!!!!! No it didn't scare the sh** out of me but it sure woke me all the way up as I tried to cling to the ceiling like a small scared kitty cat!

Taking a break for a little while, feet are ouching. But we walked for 4 hours on the tour, thinking about hitting a graveyard tonight, then dinner. :)

Trying to hit some fancy churchs too.

I did spent about half a hour in the gardens, the hot houses. Some great shots from there. The house was off limit on photo but the outside. Thing is- cool this morning, winding, and they are a little blurry. Hope edit will clear that up.

All in all- great day. :D

Cat had to do 5 floors....all stairs. We both was huffing and puffing by then.

And found a Joli picture, it just screamed her to me.

Some of you know RedQueen came down for the wedding, going on from here to visit her family. And I for one don’t know how we could of handle the wedding of Birdy without her. From the free labor, to the get up and go push, to the ability to say “Fuck it… let’s go have a drink.” LOL

Lot of what happen this past weekend I don’t wish to share. It was a wedding- stress was high. But we made it threw it, even got to see the service from the back of the building. We were sitting on the back roll of chairs, Puppy at the end, me at the isle, and Cat in the middle. The sword guard/men are behind us, and we had a blast. Most fun of the whole event happens that whole five minutes of us sitting together.

I turned to whisper something to Cat when I hear this LOUD noise in my ear, right at my ear. One of the men behind me that I have known for years had reached down to kiss my cheek. I screamed. Loudly. Cat jumped, Puppy jumped, the guys behind us started to laugh, and everyone within 50 feet of us in the long narrow building turned to look at us. The ladies in front of us even more forward, pulling their chairs up away from us. LOL Did Birdy hear it? I don’t know. We could not hear any of the service but the singing, so I hope not.

I know I was to of taken pictures all during this but when you are setting tables, calling in a emergency 911 call to Cat and Birdy when I find no one at the building, helping the people who was doing the cooking carry in food, the kitchen not set up, nothing done to get the food ready two hours before the wedding- I really did not give a rat’s ass about trying. I had spent the day with her, hair salon (the lady sprayed my lens with hair spray… it will have to be cleaned, I hope that fixes the sticky focus movement). She did have a professional photographer so she should have plenty.

But after the scream I did pull out the telescope lens and leaned out in the isle to try and zoom up the 100 feet to see if I could at least see her face. That is when I found out the black skirt and the chair leather like cover did not like each other at all. I felt my ass move my body going over so I grip the camera with one hand and reached behind me with my other to find…well….Cat’s boob. I started to pull her shirt off. LOL I think one of them realized what was happening as the back of my shirt was grabbed, pulling me back on the seat. LOL So of course the men behind us got a good show, laughing again, the lady in front of us turning to glare, and puppy giving her a look that would of killed a saint. I am just glad someone saved me as I would of fallen, and the word or words out of my mouth at that point would not of been nice ones.

So after the service that we did not hear or see, they came walking back down the isle. I stood to try and get a few shots when the guy taking the photos pointed out he had it covered, I was getting in his shots. Same guy who had been a little rude to puppy the day before, telling her when she turned to say sorry about walking into his shot, that he had gotten her good side…as in her ass. He was just taking lighting test shots- no need to be an ass about it. Safe to say when he started on us about a glare on the floor, puppy made damn sure it was fixed for him. So I put the camera away and went to the girls to see if we could get some food.

Before we even started to eat the guest was asking what was being served. I sat at the bar with Birdy, Puppy, Cat and we kept the bar and drink bar full. The sword men and some cool folks kept us company for the three hours we kept an eye on the bar, Puppy doing the bartending. She made $42.00 in tips even. LOL

We left the wedding to go for drinks, food. Then VR cam, up till 2:00 am Sunday. It was a trip out, away from the wedding stuff, for Puppy and us on Sunday, her last day here. Movie, good food, and just talking makes me see how damn much Puppy is missed when she leaves us.

Now- favor part of the wedding for me? Her mom was stunning in her nice deep purple dress. And the laugh we shared on the steps as we waited for her cue to do come up, start the walk down the isle to her new hubby. She turned to me, me being a few steps below her as it was my job to straighten out her veil, do a last second check on her dress, and she tells me to tighten her shoes. I looked down at her feet as she pulls up her dress. Yeap- under the dress I went to pull the Velcro tighter on her shoes… kidding it was “Where no man has gone before” “Good lord I hope this doesn’t get a photo.” “The things I do for you…” as she stands there laughing. She needed the release, and it was a moment that I will always remember, about the only time we had together other then in that hotel room, her sitting on the bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as I sat on the other bed, thinking of how to get her in the shower and going. lol Then it was time. Off she went, down the isle to start her new life as a wife.

Pictures? Mine are not any good, a few but nothing that I want to share. Besides- it is her place to post pictures. Let me just say she was beautiful, he was handsome, and she glowed joy all night. Really- what more could you ask for?

Gods..... you got to feel sorry for all those people. The hits just keep coming to them.

Watching the news, seeing all the people standing in line for water, food, gas. The news reporter commented how ordely they waited, no anger, no pushing, no fighting. The children are watched, well behaved. No one walking around, breaking into the stores that are open wide, no stealing.

Can't say the same would of happen in the USA if it had happen here.

Damn it... I knew I forgot something last night. Still got to pack the makeup kit. lol

She wants a 'just a touch of foundation, color on my lips" look to go with the civil war theme. They had rouge back then, damn it.

Thing is- all the dewy look will look pale as hell on a camera flash. Hardest makeup is the 'no makeup' look.

But that is ok- it will look like she has nothing on her skin as that is about what it will be. A little blush, pale lipstick, no eye makeup, and she is set.

So- take me 5 mins to pack that kit up. Will do it before we go get the Puppy.

Something funny I find on VR of late. I have said before I go into the cams, not logged in, just to check them out. Not just as a Master- but as a person. I find it fun to ‘see’ into the world of the member. I don’t talk, as if I wanted to talk to the person I would log in under my name.

And my god- the images you get. Not the homes, clothing, music, etc. But the reaction from the member when a they see that little word Anonymous sure is telling. I gotten threats of kicking my ass to tell me to fuck off. From “Leave now!” to being called a chicken shit. And lord help you if they “know” who you are and start into all the drama that ‘I’ did, that I bring to the site. And then the other people, friends in the chat, start on you. Threats of blocking you, giving you ones.

Really- it is kind of funny in a way. They have no idea who it is but still they threaten you. For what? Just being a screen name, nothing more. If you do not want people to view you- don’t do a cam. They are not private.

It is kind of like when you come home to find all the kids lined up at the door, waiting, to tell you that they did not burn the kitchen down, flush the dog down the toilet, and drove the car into the pool.

It is very telling, the reactions to the Anonymous. Makes me want to visit your cam just to see it. And if I step into the cam signed in- total about face. I just find that funny. How about you leave people alone till they start something? It is the adult thing to do.

Got to remember to charge my camera batteries tonight, do the dishes, a load of laundry. Hope the weather stays good for Sunday as I am sure Puppy will want to do something.

RedQueen is here at 10:00 pm Thur. at the airport 100 miles away, going with Cat to pick her up. Then bed for me.

Friday work till 5:00pm - would be one of the only two days we have work this week. Then out to the party barn (where the wedding is going to happen) to help decorate. Then a little private party for Birdy (drinking...hahaha) and having to have her up and dress before 8:30 am for her day that starts. Follow along with her for the walk thru, hair being done, makeup by me, then dressing.

Then my work is done. Just some random pictures from there. :D At the dance going to have a cold beer and be happy it is over. :D

Plan is to do a webcast after the wedding, Cat, Puppy and I. Then Sunday she gets to pick what she wants to do. I offered movies, me cook, go out and visit one of the old buildings I like to take pictures of. Anything she wishes really.

Then Monday Cat is taking her back to the airport as I have to work.

So it is going to be busy, it is going to be fun, and stress all at the same time.

And life is changing... all around me.

Funny- I can't stop eating these things. Found them in sisters desk and been eating them all morning. Just last Saturday I told Cat and Birdy I hated these things and now... They will read this and I can hear them now (trying to say in my whinney voice) "I hate them. I can't eat those. I don't want any."

Cat does that- she adds people who ask. She is nice that way. I just don't see the need. So I can see you face on my screen under Friends Online? So I can fill up my friends list and not know who is online as it only shows so many? And lose track of those I do want to see, talk to when they are online?

I think it is a plot- to ruin my friends list. To keep me from talking to those few I do chat with on a rare day here. Why? Why take the fun out of the site for me? For a stupid number that increase as you get added? Does that really make your day, get your rocks off? Not me- sorry.

And I think they should be called spam. What is the difference between that and a message about a bank in South Africa accepting bank deposits? At least that letter I could read.

See, when I add people to my lists, I just let them know, I don't ask them do to it in return, I just say something along the lines of:

"Just wanted to let you know, I added your journal/you to my friend's list. You seem interesting and you do not need to return the add."

I let them know, so that they know I will probably be messaging them to get to know them.

The annoying ones ask you to return the "favor". ;)

I"m sorry. I know that doing this adds points, etc. But my friend's list is sacred to me. I only put people on who I actually talk to and who talk back. WHY would I want to clutter up my area with a bunch of people I have never heard of, never talked to, and couldn't carry on a decent conversation with if my life depended on it?

I think we should all get favor (a point, dammit) for every one of those that we DON'T add...

Out with Birdy and Cat today. :D Birdy's birthday was this week so it was a mix of catching up with each others lifes, her special day and of course the wedding.

Never forget the "don't touch me.." LOL Cat got from putting her cold hands on Birdy's arm. The drinks, the great food, and just being with my two best buddies. And I have never looked at so much wedding stuff since I was married 25 years ago.

Good day. And I have had to correct this about a dozen times as I lay in bed, eyes closing on me,.

Guess this will be the last nice meal we share together being single ladies.... *mock tear* I had so much fun teasing her,,"This time next week you will be married." "This time next week we will be dancing at your wedding." She would turn green, order another drink. LOL

Wedding count down in less then a week now. Might not be on much, so much to do to get ready for Red Queen visit. Thank god Cat taking her in due to my stink, which by the way is a lot better, but still catching a whiffy of "it".

So Sunday is curtain,, bed linen, rugs, anything I can throw in the washer day as I clean the carpet. Well Sunday and the week days after work. Trying to got with Cat to pick up the Puppy at the airport Thru night. :)

So much is going to change this week, next weekend. And Puppy is going to be here for it Yeah!

Ok- got to close my eyes....

Yep I'm still twitching over that "don't touch me" yell.... here I almost never reach out for any physical contact and in the middle of a crowded resturant get yelled at like I was a molester! It's enough to give a girl a complex!

It was a fun time anyway and I sure hope it's not the end of all our good fun :)

Good meal, a nice drink, and I feel better.

In case you didn't get it.. there has been a big pause here as I think of my day. See- we went out of town to move some apartments. For the second time we was called in to relocate people as the apartments was remodel.

Did 4 today, got two large ones Friday with one of those having a full pack job.

Sunny, in the 70's, beautiful day. Nice customers, kidding around with the guys. A great day all in all. No damage, happy people.

Then home to find my sister steaming. Seems all hell breaks loose on the first day out of the office in weeks. I will just say it seems the local Base is giving us a 30 day suspension due to me not going 200 miles one way to pack a shipment that is at 57% discount.

Then load it, hold it for 11 days on my truck, and take it back 240 miles. Funny that- from point A to B= is 45 miles. So you ask... as I am sure you are... why are they asking us to do the move when their are several movers right in the area?? They would not have hotel rooms, the fuel, labor for the driving time... so why ask us to go clear across the state?

Well... you dear reader, will pick up on why. So I will not point out the 57% discount, or the 11 days of blocking the truck from other jobs.

Base answer to me saying No, thank you. was these---

1. "But you wanted a job." So let me get this stright- for 2 1/2 years you have not had ONE shipment move out of the whole of Eastern Ky? Wow. Just in the Northern part? The other side of the state? Huh. Strange. I did have a job about two months ago. The shipper changed her dates, I could not meet them, so it was turned back in without any marks against me. That is the ONLY job I have had offered to me- pull up your big new system and tell me what other jobs you have given me in close to three years? Prove me wrong. Nothing.

2. "But you set your own rates." No- not really. We started at 0% discount- it was refused. We went to 05, 10, 15, etc... and was sent a email from the DOD that the starting discount is at 57%. The system WOULD not accept anything above that. So if you think I want to do the same work, at larger bills for me then two years ago, for 43% of what I use to be paid because I just fucking love the back breaking work....... you are a fucking dumb ass. And no- I did not call him a dumb ass... I think the word was crazy as hell. And if that is not price fixing, I don't know what is. To me that is against the law, but as it is the goverment... well who you going to call?

3. "If you don't want to do it- others will." Ok. Should of heard the long pause at that one. Gosh.. do you think movers don't talk? I know you lost the Richmond mover, and at least three others in the state. That list of movers is getting thin, huh? Let me try to give a damn.

4. "You can take the shipment to a warehouse, not hold it on your truck if you wish." Really? So I can just take it to a local mover up in that area, unload it into their warehouse, let it set there for 11 days, then let them load it on their truck, delivery it for me? WOW! I can do that? And tell me... who is going to pay them to do that? Who is going to pay for all that labor? That storage? Me? Nooooo.... see- that is what STORAGE use to be. Now- you just want us to block our trucks for jack shit nothing. Why- let me just bounce into a mover's lot and ask them to do that for me.... prick.

5. "Maybe a 30 day suspension will change your mind." No- it will not. Me not losing money is what will change my mind. But the 30 days will give me some time to look into buying the state required insurance and saying ' fuck you ' to all that $$ insurance coverage I have to have for your moves. And start to see about renting the warehouse out to other customers. Me sitting here with bills I can't pay, and you doing this, will just piss me off.

6. "Shame the movers made money like crazy, but when they put the brakes on the run away prices... all of you just act like cry babies." Really? This is from a man who only worked in the Household for a whole two years? Listen fucker... give it 28 years. And yes- we did make money. But why don't you do your research- I never raised my rates above 125% of the rates that the goverment set. Others- up to 240%. Sorry you don't think our family and the men working for us did not earn what they was paid. Nice attitute from the Base, by the way. So- let me ask you... would you come to work, same hours, same job and only get paid 43% of what you are being paid now?

He had no come back for that... but to tell me I was suspended for 30 days.

Well dear Tony at the Base... thank you. Thank you for making this so easy. And as I end this little rant I think back to the day, the good part. The day as we worked for customers who smiled at you, who joked with us, and the sun on my face.

Positive things.

I need to hold on to those, and learn to let the others wash off my back.

Other then that- the one house that needs plumbing work is going to have to be moved up. Damn galvanized pipes. But at least it is just in the old bathroom, the rest already replaced. I will lose the flooring in the utilty room as they will have to cut in the floor to get to the pipes but.. at least it has a rental who understands and willing to work with us. :)

Speaking of- got one house coming empty at the end of the month, and a trailer just now empty. Next week is going to be rental work it seems. :D

Ok- off to bed... I think that is all I need to get off my mind. And I am fighting a yawn as I typed this so.... yeap, mind is cleared.

Positive ... just need to stay on the positive of the day.

I talked to the driver who was here a few days ago bringing in the military. He did a pickup in Calf on the 15th. I comment, asking about the storage required time, and he said the 'new rules' on this was costing drivers a lot of money.

New rule- instead of picking up the 10,000 lbs and driving three days to Kentucky to place it in storage... he had to hold it on his truck for two weeks.

Under the new rule- this time is to give the customer time to find a home, travel time, etc. so that it will not go into storage and cost the goverment money.

They are trying to save, you see.

Now the driver- who was in a tractor trailer- was blocking at least 1/3 of his trailer off with the shipment. He had to haul it around for two weeks as he loaded/unloaded other shipments, the fuel cost higher for it.

So tell me- who is getting screwed in this?

And it was 1:35pm before they called in the SIT number (see below) so they held him 6 hours, would of held my labor for 6 hours.

All because emails went unanswered. All done online now- same people at the base who use to answer the phones, now just does it online.

I love how the Goverment saves money- off the back of those who do the work.

And yes- we went in and blocked till June all the dates for two bases. Meaning we are busy- don't call us. That only leaves the local base that we have had no jobs out of last year.

I will give it till June, the all this insurance, ADT alarm system has got to go. If I can't pay my bills- time to hit McDonalds up for a job.

I watched the movie Social Network last night. While I am not a big Facebook fan, I have to say it was interesting to see the way the ‘human’ part of the movie played out.

Did he rip off the Greek god looking Winklevoss twin brothers?

Did he screw over his one and only friend Eduardo Saverin on the stock of the company?

I found all the time spent on the law of him stealing the idea could have been explored more. But then- as he had to pay these lawsuits off I guess the lawyers knew he had done wrong, if he did not. Sorry- the movie said he settled.

A line in the movie about paying the person who came up with the idea of a chair- would you have to pay him every time you designed a chair? Good point. I mean- where does the ideals come from for online sites? There are thousands of sites to any one given subject. Look at Vampire Rave itself. Sort of like so many, but different. While the movie actor playing Mark Zuckerberg pointed out several times it was his codes alone that made the site- you have to take into account who came up with the concept of the site.

A friend of mine tells how most movies can be broken down into four (or five?) story lines as life is just that. You are born, you love, you loss, you are afraid, and you die.

Maybe the internet is the same.

Either way- for those who want to do the research (yes- I know the movie only showed one side) it would be a interesting read. And maybe the case should be used in collage business classes as an example.

I do have one question that bothers me about the movie. At the start, when he was hacking and making the ‘who is the sexiest- girl on the left or right’ program, did the code he begged from Saverin (write on the window) show up in Facebook codes?

Not a code person but that is going to bother me. :/
